Beginning with the Spring 2018 Semester (Feb.-Apr.), the English Language Center (ELC) at the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies is proud to announce the launch of its part-time Evening & Weekend English program. Formerly known as “Continuing Studies English,” the program will continue to offer Conversational English, ESL Business English, and TOEFL Test Prep courses for the DC community on the University’s historic main campus.

Note for current Fall 2017 Continuing Studies English students:
The program's Confirmation of Enrollment can be downloaded at any time. However, the Student Grade Report and Georgetown Student Transcript will not be available beginning Tue., Nov. 28, 2017. Reference instructions below.

Request Course Transfer

  1. Login HERE
  2. Select "My Enrollment History"
  3. Select "Request Transfer"
  4. Complete form and select desired course
Spring 2018 students may request transfers until Fri., Jan. 26, 2018.

Request Course Drop

(via the Student Portal)

Students may voluntarily withdraw from a course at any time (before the end of the course) by email request to
Note: All withdrawals follow the refund policy

Spring 2018 Refund Schedule:

  • Withdrawals/Drops that are completed by Dec. 19, 2017 are due a 100% refund minus a $50 admin fee.
  • Withdrawals/Drops that are completed between Jan. 12 and Feb. 4, 2018 are due a 75% refund minus a $50 admin fee.
  • No refunds are awarded for withdrawals/drops that are completed after Feb. 5, 2018.

Refunds will be credited back to the credit card used to make the payment 30 days after the drop has been processed. Please contact SCS Student Accounts at if you have questions about your refund payment.

Note: We do not allow deferred enrollment from one semester to another.

Print Confirmation of Enrollment

  1. Login HERE
  2. Select “My Enrollment History”
  3. Select course (from either "My Current Courses" if the course is ongoing OR "My Completed Courses" if your course has ended)
  4. Choose report type from dropdown
  5. Click "Print" button
Available at no cost any time during or after course participation.

Print Student Grade Report

  2. Select “My Enrollment History”
  3. Select course after it becomes available in "My Completed Courses"
  4. Choose report type from dropdown
  5. Click "Print" button

Not available until two weeks after the last day of your course. No charge for accessing and printing this document.

Request Official Transcript

  2. Submit signed and completed form via mail, fax or email to
    Note: each request must include the student's nine-digit GUID number.

Official Transcripts contain the Georgetown University seal, the signature of the University Registrar, and reflect each student's complete academic record. No charge for requesting this document.

Conditions for Issuance of Transcripts:

  • Not available until two weeks after the last day of your course. Currently, there is no charge for requesting this document.

  • All financial obligations to the University must be settled.

  • Transcripts will only be made available for delivery via US mail or by pick-up (with picture ID) at the Registrar's office in basement room G-01 of the White Gravenor Building on Georgetown's main campus.

  • Transcripts will not be faxed or emailed.
